ABOUT ELANTROCIDE
Elantrocide is an independent music and visual project created in Nelson, New Zealand. It moves between atmospheric progressive metal, 1970s psychedelic rock, doom, death and black metal, dark folk and industrial sound. Each release is built as its own world rather than following a single fixed formula.
THE SOUND
Ethereal clean voices collide with death and black-metal vocals, vintage organ, acoustic passages, odd time signatures, heavy riffs and long-form progressive arrangements.
THE WORLD
The songs open into a connected dark mythology of memory, grief, machinery and transformation: the Mourning Engine, the red moon, the Hidden Vale and the figures who move through them.
FEATURED RELEASES
Somewhere Under Everything
A dreamlike cycle of vintage organ, psychedelic colour, ethereal vocals and sudden weight—music that feels buried beneath fields, rivers and sleeping machines.
The Lexicon of Borrowed Grief
A collection built around strange emotions that are difficult to name, moving from intimate reflection to unpredictable progressive and extreme-metal turns.
The Mourning Engine
The darker mechanical heart of Elantrocide: ritual, memory and colossal machinery expressed through industrial textures, doom weight and cinematic scale.
New songs and visual worlds are added regularly. Use the links above to hear the complete Elantrocide catalogue.
